We work exclusively with the current edition of the basic principles of the General Freight Forwarder's Terms and Conditions (ADSp). Section 23. For damage to goods, in accordance with § 431 HGB, ADSp limits the legal liability for damage in transport custody to 5 EUR/kg; for multimodal transport, including sea transport, to 2 SDR/kg; and further, per claim or event to 1 million or 2 million EUR or 2 SDR/kg, whichever amount is higher.
In addition, it is agreed that Section 27 of the ADSp neither extends the liability of the freight forwarder nor the attribution of fault of people or other third parties in deviation from statutory provisions such as Art. 25 MC (Montreal Convention), Art. 36 CIM, Art. 21 CMNI, § 660 HGB in favor of the client.
We have obtained freight forwarding insurance.
